DIgging Out

Darin and I are certifiable pilers. We have stacks and stacks of paper and other stuff. How do clutter-free people do it? Are their closets piled up to the ceiling and bulging at the seams just waiting to blow if someone opens it? Are they, like us, unable to park in their garage because it's so full of stuff? And, don't even get me started on all my kids' stuff!! Darin recently did a purge on their toys. We'll probably need another after Christmas.

I am getting better about throwing stuff away and not "just in case" filing it away. I have a small box of things to put on ebay sometime soon. I need to have another yardsale...but not until spring. Basically, I need to get rid of more stuff. I don't need a bigger house. I'd only fill it with more junk. I need to dig out and clean up the one I have!

  2. Yea! I found your blog through Stephanie's link. How cool! I like your thoughts about a bigger house would just mean more stuff. We just did a purge of our clothes and took a trunk load to Goodwill....where did we get all those t-shirts?

  3. I also like your comment about a bigger house and more stuff. I recently watched a show on HGTV where a couple had a 3 or 4 bedroom/3 bath house. It was some where around 2100 square feet. They were getting ready to have their first baby and said they needed a bigger house!! I couldn't believe it. I have been thinking about that show & then read your blog. That says my thoughts exactly.

Glad to see you in blogworld!
