Falling down on the job

I guess if I am going to blog, I should be more attentive to it, huh?!? Darin made such fun of me for "blogging" when there's 1000 other things to do that I guess I got a little embarrassed and quit. That'll show him! Anyway, in the last 2 weeks, he's been setting up his facebook page and has been communicating with high school friends. So, I am back!

I didn't vote for Obama. I am a republican - much to the dismay of my mother and other family members. I don't truly believe that he can do all the things that he says he can because he is not the sole decision maker. And, I am a bit afraid of some of the social changes that he might make. Politicians are politicians after all.

All that said, I do pray for him. I cannot imagine the stress that comes with the job. Would any of us have wanted to be in President Bush's place on 9/11? I pray that he makes good decisions for our country. I pray for his safety and his family's. How awful would that be if someone were to harm him? He has a tough job and like he said today during his speech, we all have to do our individual parts to help our country get back up and move forward. God bless America!!!
